Industrial film is an active category of employment for Chicago actors (business training films, point of purchase videos, educational films - a wide variety of subjects, settings, and styles.) The field requires strong acting skills, plus a brand new set of skills and knowledge. In this course you will learn & practice applying your acting skills to:
- Achieve natural, conversational delivery of informational scripts
- Develop believable & interesting characters in any format
- Analyze technical scripts
- Become comfortable with on-camera audition constraints
- Use an Ear Prompter (We provide equipment for class use)
- Work narration and scenes on ear
- Learn marketing considerations for the Industrial market
