The Voice & Speech class is a chance to learn how to really connect your voice work with your acting work. This is a great class to take while you are doing a scene study class so you can apply these techniques to your work as an actor each week. The course builds upon itself as the weeks go by so each week you become more relaxed and centered in your vocal work.

    Tension:
Do you suffer from TMJ, neck , or throat tension? This class will show you how to first locate where you hold your tension and then learn how to relax each area when you do your warm-up.

    Auditioning:
This class is so valuable for auditioning - you can learn how to warm up physically and vocally before your audition in TEN MINUTES! So you can get control of your nerves and focus on your work as an actor.

    Range:
You get to expand the range of your speaking voice with vocal exercises and learn about where sound resonates in all the different cavities of your face and body.

A trained voice is a crucial component of an actor's craft. The exercises in this class serve both to train the voice to be more expressive and to relax the whole body. You will learn to:

    • Relax your body and voice
    • Connect to your emotional responses
    • Speak with greater power and clarity
