Stesha MerleCarson's Spot
Stesha Merle developed and has taught Act
One's Teen Actors' Workshop since 2002. She is also the production
manager of Act One's tri-yearly Student Theatre Fest.
Her theatre
credits include "Court Martial at Fort Devin" with Victory Gardens,"Romeo and Juliet" at Chicago Shakespeare Company,
"Back of the Throat" for Silk Road Theatre Project, "Museum" for
Appetite Theatre and "The Game of Love and Chance," as a guest artist
at NIU. She has also been an understudy for roles at Northlight Theatre and most recently the Goodman in Mary Zimmerman's "Mirror of the Invisible World." In New York she produced and appeared in "Vampire Lesbians of
Sodom" at the New York Comedy Club.
A member of SAG and AFTRA she has
appeared in commercials for McDonalds, Carson Pirie Scott, Dodge Ram,
and others, as well as feature and industrial films. Stesha trained at
the Piven Theatre Workshop, the Chicago Academy for the Arts, Marymount
Manhattan College, and Act One Studios. |
