Rebecca Bossen is a voice coach, playwright, and performer. She received her undergraduate training from Duke University and pursued graduate studies at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London and at Northwestern University. Her work as a voice and dialect coach has taken her to many fascinating places, from the mountains of Colorado to the beaches of Brazil. Recent coaching credits include several shows at Creede Repertory Theatre, winner of the 2007 National Theatre Conference Award. She has also coached for many Chicago theatres, including Stage Left, The Free Associates, Rivendell Theater Ensemble, and Actors Revolution Theatre. She has taught at Northwestern University and is currently teaching at Act One Studios. In recognition of her work as playwright, Rebecca was awarded the 2006 Illinois Arts Council Fellowship Grant for Scriptworks.
